So can you view your house on Google Earth? The quick answer is yes, of course. How to get and share the Google Maps Satellite view of any place on earth: Enter the address or the GPS coordinates of the target location Click on the 'Google Map Satellite' button Simply copy and paste the dynamically updated page’s URL to share the resulting view Address. ![]() Click on View and choose Historical Imagery to view older images of the location. Next, look to the bottom left-hand corner on the maps and click the satellite option to bring up the imagery. You can view parcel boundaries, or view property lines in Google Earth and other GIS applications via a familiar map view format and quickly digest key. Useful for gleaning house numbers on specific buildings, as and when useful. Either enter the longitude and latitude coordinates or use a common marker like a street address to find the point of interest. You can navigate between shots using the directional arrows, click-and-drag to get a better view, or hit the '+' symbol to zoom in. Zoom in and out using a mouse wheel or the + and buttons on the left. The map should now change to aerial view. These Street View images are taken from one of the many Google cars that have driven around millions of miles of the world's streets. Click the Satellite box in the bottom left of the map screen. None of the imagery was captured from satellite. ![]() That street will light up blue and, once you release the mouse, you'll then be taken in by another animation taking you to street level.
